Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED bar

The Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED Bar is a powerful terrarium light built on the latest High Output LED technology. It delivers high brightness and faithful colour rendering, so you see both your animals and plants in the most natural light. It comes as a complete set with all accessories — just plug it in and it lights up. A reflector is included to direct the light and boost its intensity; the beam covers a 120° angle.

This is not an ordinary LED strip, the kind usually unsuitable for terrariums. Jungle Dawn contains no disruptive separate red and blue diodes — it emits a full spectrum and provides clean, visible daylight at 6200 K. The fixture holds enough diodes for the light to spread evenly, with no dark spots. Efficiency reaches a remarkable 138–141 lumens per watt depending on the chosen length.

Who it is for: it is ideal for diurnal lizards and tortoises from desert, semi-desert and tropical habitats. It will be appreciated especially by keepers of:

• bearded dragons and uromastyx,
• collared lizards and green iguanas,
• chameleons and monitor lizards,
• tortoises (Testudo, Geochelone and others).

Beneficial for plants too. The modern diodes project all visible wavelengths from blue to red without needing separate “PAR-limiting” red and blue chips. The result is a high percentage of usable radiation (PUR), high colour rendering (CRI) and no unnatural purple tint. Live plants thrive under this source.

More light = more active animals. Enough visible daylight motivates reptiles to be more active and to feed more readily — it triggers the so-called activation of the “third eye” located on the top of the head. The amount of daylight is often underestimated: while in nature we commonly measure around 100,000 lux, ordinary lighting provides only a few thousand. With daylight, the general rule is the more, the better.

Important note: this light does not emit UVB or UVA radiation — it serves as a source of intense daylight, not as a UVB replacement. We recommend combining it with a suitable UVB source. You can add the Jungle Dawn LED Bar to virtually any terrarium where plenty of natural daylight is welcome.
