Screen cages are lightweight mesh terrariums designed for species that need very good ventilation and air circulation. Instead of solid glass walls they use mesh, thanks to which excess humidity is retained less and air can flow more freely. They are suitable especially for chameleons, some arboreal lizards or other species sensitive to poor ventilation. Thanks to their low weight they are easy to carry and can also serve as temporary, rearing or outdoor housing. During use, however, it is necessary to carefully watch temperature, humidity and the distance of light and heat sources, because mesh walls hold heat and humidity less than glass.

Our screen cages consist of an aluminium frame and steel mesh. This mesh fills all the walls, the ceiling and the entire front door. The bottom is made of solid PVC material and, for easy cleaning, has a loosely laid tray on it. The screen cages come in three colour variants – black, silver, and white (white frame and black mesh).
